Project description: Anglo-Saxon Discovery is a website designed for to meet the needs of teachers and children studying the Anglo-Saxons at Key Stage 2. It can be used for teaching in Geography, English, Art and Design, Design and Technology and Science as well as History. Games, interactive maps, and pictures are provided. The site links in to the Ashmolean's collections of British Anglo-Saxon artefacts, with a particular focus on the excavations of Edward T. Leeds around the Oxford area.
