The Digital Manuscripts Toolkit project is building tools to enable scholars working with digitized cultural heritage materials to use them more effectively and innovatively, concentrating in particular on digital medieval manuscripts. The project sits in a context of continuous active development of the International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) standard in the international community. The project also looks to explore user needs in the area of digitized special collections, and to build a community of users around the Bodleian’s work in this field.
