Digital Humanities Interests: I am co-PI of the Cuneiform Digital Library Initiative (CDLI) <http://cdli.ucla.edu>. The worlds leading online cuneiform project, providing free access to the cultural heritage of ancient Iraq and neighboring countries (see for example the Syrian Digital Library of Cuneiform <http://cdli.ucla.edu/collections/syria/syria_en.html>). I am editor for the Cuneiform Digital Library Journal (http://cdli.ucla.edu/pub.html), the only true online journal in the field of Assyriology. I edit several groups of cuneiform texts using online tools for text repository, visual documentation, and metadata (joint publication (on-line) of ca. 300 Ur III texts in Aleppo National Museum, Syria, with Dr Bertrand Lafont (CNRS, Paris); publication of ca. 300 Ur III texts in a private Norwegian collection; publication of un-deciphered texts from Iran).
