Staying Here (Accommodation)

You are responsible for booking your own accommodation. It is not included in the registration fee.

A limited amount of single ensuite accommodation is available at St Hugh's College (£96.00 per night bed & breakfast) and St Anne's College (£75.00 per night bed & breakfast). These rooms can be booked via our online store at the time of registration.  Rooms are availale on a first come, first served basis.  Please note to carefully book the accommodation that you require, as refunds are not possible.

Alternatively, you can book accommodation separately. A range of bed and breakfast, guest house and hotel accommodation is available in Oxford. Sources for accommodation information in Oxford include Oxford Rooms and DailyInfo.

Delegates are responsible for booking their own accommodation. The DHOxSS Events Team are not able to help with this.

Getting Here (Travel)

By car

There is no parking available at any of the college and departmental venues (except for disabled access).

By coach

Frequent 24-hour direct services connect Oxford with London (at peak times every 10-20 minutes).

The X90 service includes Victoria Coach Station, Grosvenor Gardens, Marble Arch, Baker Street/Gloucester Place and Hillingdon (tel: +44 (0)1865 785410). http://www.oxfordbus.co.uk/

The Oxford Tube coach service includes Grosvenor Gardens, Marble Arch, Notting Hill Gate, Shepherd’s Bush and Hillingdon (tel: +44 (0)1865 772250). http://www.oxfordtube.com/

Coaches arrive at Gloucester Green Coach Station in the City Centre.

By Train

A direct service operates between Oxford and London Paddington (approximately every 30 minutes taking over an hour), and between Oxford and Birmingham New Street. Other services operate from the north via Birmingham New Street; from the south via Reading; and from the west via Didcot or Reading. From London Airports

London Heathrow and Gatwick airports are linked to Oxford by The Airline coach service, which operates a frequent direct service 24 hours a day (tel: +44 (0)1865 785400). http://airline.oxfordbus.co.uk/

London Stansted Airport and London Luton airports are linked to Oxford by the National Express 757 coach service, running every two hours (tel: +44 (0)8705 747777). http://www.nationalexpress.com

Birmingham International and Southampton airports are linked to Oxford by direct services on the national rail network.

Taxis

Some taxi companies offer a bespoke airport pick-up service. There is a taxi rank at Gloucester Green Bus station, the Oxford rail station, and other places in Oxford city centre.
