Digital Humanities Lunch

Join us for another fascinating insight into the people and projects working in the Digital Humanities at Oxford, hosted by the Humanities Training Team. Come along and hear Segolene Tarte (Oxford e-Research Centre) and Graham Barrett (Medieval History) talk about their work, followed by informal discussion over lunch.

Segolene Tarte will speak to the title: 'Engaging with the cognitive to go digital: interdisciplinaritiy in papyrological and palaeographical research'

Graham Barrett will speak to ‘Our Print Culture Hangovers - We approach editing and presenting texts much as before the digital revolution; manuscript culture similarly persisted beyond the advent of printing, and I would like to think through the lessons of this experience for how the digital humanities might best develop new approaches to texts'

No need to book, all welcome.
