Event type: Workshop
A workshop will take place in Oxford 18-19 April as part of the CLARIN-PLUS project, which aims to reach out to new users to discover requirements for the use of language technologies in a variety of disciplines. There are a number of places available for participants from Oxford, so please get in touch with Martin Wynne (martin.wynne@it.ox.ac.uk) if you are interested in participating.
The focus of the workshop will be on the following questions:
- What language technologies exist and can be used to help explore and analyse oral history collections?
- How can we integrate disparate collections to make more coherent historical collections, language corpora, and virtual collections?
- Can we identify themes that could be studied from a cross-European perspective?
Further information can be found on the event page on the CLARIN website.
The workshop is funded by the European Commission under Horizon2020 as part of the CLARIN-PLUS project.
